Recently (and in the past) there have been repeated claims that the Darkside members were simply doing the "same thing" that I have done for years in the Pub. Sorry, but that’s a completely ridiculous statement—basically, it is a complete load of crap. They say everything is my fault and that I ‘deserve’ what has been done to me. But YOU be the judge. This thread is a calm, factual listing of the “bad deeds” that I have done over the past few years, followed by a list of deeds of the Darkside bullies, who were led by Sue Witkin, friend of Lynne Malone of Avnet Management. Sue’s sister, Lori Allison, an employee of Josh Groban (she does his makeup at times), was a major participant in Sue’s cyberbullying MySpace pages, along with Rene Davis (Nay), Jeanene (Neener, aka assclown), Cheekymonkie, Journey, Spyder, JazzHands, Parrothead, Puppymom, Crabcakes, and other Josh fans who hate me.
So first, here is a list of what I have done “bad” on Josh’s boards and at the Pub:
1) I called people names now and then (like arrogant bitch... and if the shoe fits, wear it), and used a naughty word here and there (like "crap" above, or a-hole). [Note: I never call January Jones a slut. I never called Rene Davis a slut. And I never called Katy Perry a no-talent bitch, nor anything else derogatory. Interestingly, that was GinGin who called Sue Witkin all sorts of names....]
2) I got angry about people's posts on Josh's boards or in my board, and responded to those posts with MY opinion—often in sarcastic or satirical ways. I have especially been outspoken about Josh's message boards being lorded over by a bunch of arrogant board police who have constantly "corrected" other fans, told them what "Josh wants", and constantly caused fan fights by trying to tell other fans what to say or not say. (I don’t appreciate people trying to tell me how to think.) Over and over again, they treated other fans badly (imo) with cruel remarks and condescending tones. Then, when their bad behavior was pointed out and criticized, they would run off to Josh’s management claiming these fans, who were simply giving their honest opinions or fighting back, were “causing trouble” and “attacking them” or “harassing them” just for “keeping peace” on the board. They never saw that it was THEM who were the primary causes of the “battles” breaking out on Josh’s boards. Also, there was(is) blatant favoritism on Josh’s boards and it is a fact that certain fans were granted moderating powers, which I feel is a terrible policy.
3) I complained about public companies such as WB Records or Avnet Management, and stated my views that certain employees are incompetent after witnessing myself what THEY did or didn't do, AND after witnessing (for years) hundreds of other fans complaining about the way they were treated. My forum became a place where fans knew their complaints would be heard without fear of banishment or their posts being deleted.
4) I complained about Josh’s crappy fan club, which in my opinion is one of the worst-run fan clubs of a celebrity in existence today, primarily due to severe negligence, unfair practices, and almost non-existent customer service.
5) I expressed my disgust over certain people around Josh who I thought were disrespecting him, such as his former girlfriend. I witnessed her behavior myself: at a concert I sat one row behind her and she didn't even stand up or clap when everyone else was giving Josh a standing ovation. I also spoke out about disgusting photos such as THIS and THIS. Excuse me, but those are just gross, and if she is going to pose for such photos and show them to the entire world, then I have a right to comment about them. (I’m no prude and I don’t have a problem with nudity, sex, etc., but there is classy nude and then there is sleazy nude…sadly some people can’t tell the difference.) And yes, me saying that Lindy would want to hang one of those photos over her fireplace probably made her angry, but I guess at the time I figured she had a naughty sense of humor, like her own son Josh, who participated in a video where he sang “He’s f**king Ben” over and over again. Yes, years ago I could see that side of Josh and so the fact that he participated in that video came at no surprise to me whatsoever … and I thought it was hilarious. Too bad Lindy doesn’t have a sense of humor like Josh….and most of his fans.
6) I expressed my outrage at being treated unfairly and at being falsely accused of crimes by members of Josh's management team and employees of WB Records, and at being unfairly blocked from donating to Josh's charity by Lindy Groban. [Wyatt Thomas falsely accused me of posting video footage from FOJG in the Pub, Lynne Malone accused me of stalking Josh’s father and ruining lives, and GrayZone (consultant firm to WB Legal) sent me emails demanding that I take down my Josh media files, even though other fans were (are) allowed to have the exact same files up on the internet.]
So there you go, I have “owned up” to my bad deeds, as I always have. Some of those things I said might not be "nice", and some may be “ranting” about things I cannot possibly fix, but they are certainly not crimes, nor are they unethical, and they are absolutely nothing CLOSE to what the darksiders have done to me and others. How dare anyone try to claim otherwise.
I have repeatedly asked people to come forward and state what "crimes" I have committed against Josh or his family or anyone else that would result in his people "taking care of me" or initiating some sort of legal action against me, but nobody has responded with anything of substance. The darksiders just keep saying stuff like: she “bashed people around Josh”. Sorry, but it’s no crime to criticize people on the internet. If it were, they would be the worst criminals ever, because all they do is criticize ME. The fact that nobody has come forward with any real crimes that I committed speaks volumes ---it apparently means there is nothing to come forward about. And I asked that law firm "employee" who called my house what I was being sued for and she refused to answer the question. I even asked Josh’s lawyer what I had done wrong (what "inappropriate correspondence" meant) and HE refused to answer my question. Again, I have not committed any terrible deeds or heinous crimes against Josh, his family, or other fans. Of course, my forum is not perfect, but no forum is, and I am certainly not perfect. If you are one of the people claiming that Josh hates me for some reason and that his people need to “take care of” me and my forum, here are my questions to you: “What are these bad deeds or illegal things I have done? And are you perfect? What have you done to help Josh and his fans?”
And no, Josh Groban and others may not like or agree with my opinions, but that is their right and that is OK with me. I can't agree with everyone-- not even Josh. I think for myself. I am not some sheep who goes around bleating that everyone around Josh is perfect and has done no wrong.
Now, because I did do items one thru six above, and got banned from Josh’s boards and fan club, the darksiders continually say that everything is “my fault” and they use those six things to justify every heinous deed they committed.
In other words, if a fan complains about (or writes satires about) WB records, Josh’s management, his girlfriend, or any “high ranking fan” that kisses their collective asses, that is justification to be banned, maligned, libeled, cyberbullied, and completely destroyed. Apparently THAT is the reality of how “Josh’s team” and their favorite fans and friends (Sue and Lori) operate.
Now, here is a summary list to remind everyone of some of the things the Darksiders have done:
1) Posted pornographic images labeled with my children and husband's names.
2) Posted manipulated images of Josh threatening me with guns and making obscene gestures at me.
3) Taunted me with threats of lawsuits, financial ruin, and continued harassment.
4) Falsely accused me of illegal deeds such as stalking, bootlegging, libel, and hacking.
5) Posted photos of my boss and the address of my job, and various contact information at my place of employment.
6) Threatened to contact my boss and others at my place of employment (if I didn't shut down the Pub) and then carried thru with that threat in April, 2008, by emailing my boss, and the administration of the university where I worked. I don’t know who carried thru with the threats, but Sue Witkin, Rene Davis, and Journey Basic all posted threats to send something to my place of employment. Rene Davis posted her threat just a few days prior to the emails being received by my boss and others. I have COPIES of the threats posted by these people, as well as proof from the university that they received the emails (because an investigation was launched).
7) Encouraged people to file false "Fraud and Abuse" claims against me, and then they carried thru with that action by filing those claims thru a hotline at the university where I worked.
8) Bragged that they had an inside connection at MySpace that helped them obtain Ozy’s email address after they deleted her MySpace page. (They later hacked into my MySpace account and have publicly posted private messages I sent other people.)
9) Posted information from a private forum, the Storm Shelter, on their MySpace page without permission, with the intent of using the information for intimidation and harassment.
10) Sent Josh’s family and management copies of the stolen posts from the Storm Shelter and smeared Adam Crossley’s name (they also tried to embroil him in the war).
11) Threatened Adam Crossley with public defamation.
12) Twisted and misinterpreted what Pub members said; used such misinterpretations to justify their bullying and harassment of them.
13) Misquoted Pub members or attributed quotes to them that they did not say.
14) Called my son a racist, after hunting down his MySpace page and searching thru his friends' comments there.
15) Posted photos of gross naked women with my face and my friend's faces on them.
16) Set up at least EIGHT websites devoted entirely to bullying me. Sue's MySpace page devoted to bullying me was deleted at least 16 times for violations of their TOS, and each time she brought a new page up, and threatened to keep doing so until I shut down the Pub.
17) Falsely accused me of harassing Josh's fans, both publicly and to Josh's management.
18) Called my home several times, impersonating some sort of law firm employee (Rebecca), with claims that a lawsuit was being filed against me, and that Josh, his family, and others were going to participate in that lawsuit. (This person refused to reveal what I was being sued FOR or WHO was filing this lawsuit.) I have audio files of two of these phone calls.
19) Repeatedly taunted me that I was going to be bullied on multiple websites until my forum was shut down.
20) Taunted me about the recent death of a relative and posted her photo on their MySpace bullying page.
21) After attending a Joshua Bell concert, posted manipulated photos of Joshua wearing ladies underwear and making obscene gestures at me.
22) Constantly portrayed me as mentally ill and in need of psychiatric help and medications.
23) Spammed over 600 people, maligning me as someone who others needed to be "warned" about.
24) Constantly posted malicious lies about me, such as that I had harassed Josh's fans, gone ballistic at Josh’s concerts, done illegal bootlegging, libeled January Jones and others, stalked Josh's father, and called Josh's mother an "overbearing stage mom".
25) Created a fake MySpace page to look like Josh's real private MySpace page, and added that page as a friend on their cyberbullying page in an attempt to make people believe Josh was supporting what they were doing.
26) Constantly claimed that Josh was not only "on their side", but that he was encouraging them and laughing about what was being done to me.
27) Repeatedly taunted me that Josh hates me and posted vulgar manipulated photos of Josh in drag and of him telling me to "f**k off".
After I got the letter from Josh's lawyer, they didn't stop, and things even got WORSE. The Darkside bullies then:
Note: I did NOT say that someone hacked into my computer at home. They didn't. READ what I wrote. I said my accounts at those companies. In other words, someone illegally got access to my passwords and logged in to my accounts and took what I wrote. The emails to my friends resided on our phone company's server at their facility, NOT my computer, as I never downloaded them.
The Darksiders constantly claim that they "didn't hack into my accounts" and steal anything. Oh really? Then how did all my private emails and PM's end up on YOUR blogs? Did they just magically appear there? Do you think everyone is STUPID? It's like a burglar with a car full of stolen merchandise claiming he didn't steal anything--- that someone just "gave" that stuff to him. Well, I don't care how you got them, the point is, that your peabrain can't seem to comprehend, is that ONE of you rotten criminals got my emails illegally and YOU all were posting MY private conversations on YOUR public sites. What a despicable thing to do.
I have files (screen snapshots, emails, etc.) and various documentation to prove all of the above were done to me, Also, there were many witnesses to the bullies’ deeds.
I have never done any of those horrible things to anyone. Never. Not even close.
Josh Groban's management team (Avnet Management) and his charitable organization apparently continue to support Rene Davis (Nay), who actively participated in the actions against me above or expressed support for those actions. As far as I can tell, she still sits on the board of directors of the Grobanites for Africa, and has not been banned from any Josh message board or organization. And she remains prominently promoted on Josh's message boards in many thumbtacked threads there, which provide links to her Josh site. She even revealed that she was given free Josh CD’s by WB and Avnet Management in support of a contest she ran on her site before Christmas. Other fans who actively participated in the cyberbullying are also supported by Josh’s team, most notably Jeanene, who runs the Groban Photo Vault site. Jeanene taunted me for months, on Sue’s MySpace page, that Josh hated me, using obscene language, and then after all that happened she was granted the right, in the summer of 2008, to meet personally with Josh at a radio station and Josh even posed for photos with her. Two of the four fans who spent time with Josh at Delilah’s radio station were “friends” of Sue’s cyberbullying webpages where they attacked me, and they also posed for photos with Josh.
Furthermore, Josh Groban, Avnet Management, WB Records, Josh's legal team, or the Groban family have made NO public statement denouncing the actions of Sue Witkin, Lori Allison, Rene Davis, or any of the other cyberbullies. In fact, they even thumbtacked Rene Davis’s “goodbye post” thread to the top of Josh’s message board, which contained horrible lies about me and which actually portrayed me as a cyberbully who had harassed Nay for years, and they actively deleted any posts in that thread that attempted to tell the truth about what really happened. The letter to me from Josh's attorney made NO mention of the cyberbullying, and it asked me to shut down my site, which was the very place I had used to defend myself against false accusations and attacks on me and my family. Of course, this leads many people to believe that Josh and his team and his record company directly supported the above actions against me, my family, and my friends.
I remain deeply disturbed about the events of 2008, but I am attempting to move on. It is clear that Josh has been lied to about me and I still have hope that eventually he will come to know the truth about everything that happened, and what I have and have not done.
The last communication that I received from anyone closely associated with Josh was an email on 10/31/08 from GrayZone, consultant to WB Records, asking me to remove certain files from my Josh site. (I have not removed those files because all other Josh fans are allowed to have Josh media files on the internet.) Apparently someone is still attempting to intimidate me and shut me up. But I have a right to have a website on the internet just like millions of other people!
Sadly, even though I have many silent supporters, I was told many times that the reason they don’t post on my forum anymore is because they were afraid they would be attacked and cyberbullied like I was. I don’t blame them for feeling that way, and it’s one of the most tragic results of this situation: that Josh Groban’s fans cannot speak out because of fear of what they might experience at the hands of Josh’s management, record company, and Rene Davis and other fans who are “in power”.
My fondest hope is that no other Josh Groban fan will ever have to go thru what I have gone thru, just because they choose to speak out against rude behavior, bad customer service, shoddily-run fan clubs and websites, or because they want to express their outrage about the disrespectful behavior of certain people towards Josh or his fans.
That list above summarized several things that happened after I had written my last chapter. I will expand on those things a bit more here for completeness.
